Brian Beel

Brian Beel joined Interwork Solutions as their senior consultant for Voice, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery in April 06. He joins the company after a distinguished career with the Ministry of Defence, with over 30 years telecommunications experience. Brian’s reputation for development and delivery of voice solutions are recognised worldwide in both the public and the private sectors. He has a proven track record of innovation and is recognised as instrumental for the introduction of digital voice technology at MoD HQ in both the secure and insecure domains.

In the past ten years, Brian has been lead for the development of Business Continuity (BC) / Disaster Recovery (DR) Plans for IT & Voice Communications at MoD HQ Whitehall. This experience is invaluable to the Interwork Solutions portfolio, as clients will benefit from BC / DR plans needed to maintain their critical business needs. Research shows there are a number of companies who can offer a degree of BC & DR appropriate to their specialisation however, Interwork Solutions will be positioned to offer a comprehensive BC & DR plan. This plan will include not just IT but People Issues, Finance, FM, and others, all of which could influence continuity of business for our customers.

Brian’s last post at MoD HQ was with the Defence Communications Service Agency (DCSA), as Head of Customer Relationship Management for Operations London. His duties brought him into regular contact with the most senior military and civilian staff, including Ministers. With a remit to intervene when normal business process failed, he has established a proven track record of operating at the highest and most demanding levels both strategically and tactically.
