Skills and Training
One of the keys to a successful project outcome is the acceptance of the new information system. The acceptance is often predicated on user confidence and should be top driven to ensure all users of the new system are trained and skilled to guarantee maximum business output and benefit.
We understand and have the experience to evaluate the new skills that your people will require to meet the demands of your information system, through our skills gap analysis model.
Furthermore, due to our affiliation with e-skills UK, we can identify the appropriate training and training providers that can assist you and your people to achieve the confidence to manage and use new systems.
Our knowledge has been gained from our experience of being part of the formation of the Skills Framework for the Information Age(SFIA). Within Interwork, we have people who worked with the former IT National Training Organisation, DTI and former Department of Education and leading commercial companies to establish SFIA, which has been widely endorsed by the UK Government and major companies across the country.
Members of Interwork were also responsible for modifying and introducing the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) into the Ministry of Defence, which has now become a mandatory qualification for all MOD HQ staff.
